CLINTON — Everett “Butch” Allen Knopp, 73, of Clinton, passed away at 9:04 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at home. 

Everett was born in Clinton, on November 21, 1945, to parents, Everett James Knopp and Laura Belle Winstead.

Everett is survived by one son, Everett “Allen” (Shannan) Knopp, of Farmer City; three grandchildren, Jared Gambrel of Clinton, Everett “Logan” Knopp, of Pekin, and Journey Knopp, of Farmer City; two great-grandchildren, Paeton Komnick, of Normal and Lillian Gambrel, of Clinton; two sisters, Martha Latham, of Clinton and Linda Scogin, of Clinton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Everett was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Elizabeth Belle, and son, Walter Winebrinner.

A celebration of life will be held from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. on Saturday, November 16 2019, at The Eagles, 220 N. Center, Clinton.
