CLINTON — Floy Anna Harmon, 95 of Lane, Ill., passed away at 5:05 a.m. on November 3, 2020, at Manor Court, Clinton.
Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020, at the Lane Christian Church, Lane, with Jim Kilson officiating. Burial will follow at Weldon Cemetery, Weldon. Visitation will be 2–3 p.m. on Friday at the church. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to Lane Christian Church or DeWitt County Friendship Center.
Floy was born on February 27, 1925, in Lane, the daughter of Franz “Pete” and Irma Cerita (Brennan) Roberts. She married David Arthur Harmon on February 8, 1948, in Clinton. He passed away on October 21, 1978.
Survivors include her children, Daniel A. Harmon, Normal, Ill.; Rodney A. (Debra J.) Harmon, Atlanta, Ill.; Dwain A. (Sue) Harmon, Collinsville, Ill.; Cerita A. (Rod) Karr, Clinton; and Joy A. (Lincoln) Fox, Sycamore, Ill., nine grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren, sister, Lois (Allan) Bell, Decatur, Ill., and sister-in-law, Arwilda Roberts, Owensboro, Ky.
Floy was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Betty Rau, and brother, Robert Roberts.
She was a member of the Lane Christian Church, where church was her life, but she also enjoyed BINGO and spending time with her family.
The family would like to give a special “Thank you” to Roger Wilson and Rosemary Nichols as her honorary children. The family would also like to thank Liberty Village for their wonderful care during this difficult time.
