CLINTON — Gloria Ann Case, 77, of Clinton, passed away at 10:25 p.m. on May 27, 2019, at Manor Court, Clinton.

Mass Of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Clinton, with the Rev. Fr. James Henning Celebrant. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with a Rosary Service at 4:30 p.m.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Second Chance Pets pet adoption.

Gloria was born on May 18, 1942 in Bloomington, the daughter of Edward “Warren” and Vera (Capodice) Wheeler. She married Robert L. “Bob” Case July 6, 1963, in Bloomington. He passed away on January 6, 2012.

Survivors include her children, Annie (Dave) Jorgensen, Clinton; Bob (Ann) Case Jr., Tolono, Ill.; Corey (Andi) Case, Clinton; seven grandchildren, Mikah, Lukah, Cal, Bradley, Christopher, Amelia, and Lydia, siblings, Marion Smith, Normal; Nancy (John Ed) Lanier, Bloomington; Tony (Jamie) Wheeler, Bloomington; and Steve (Diana) Wheeler, Normal.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents.

Gloria was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Clinton. She was a teacher’s aide for 27 years at the Clinton High School, retiring in 1995. She loved playing the piano, playing games with her family, and watching the “Price Is Right.”
