MT. PULASKI, Ill. — Helen Robinson departed this life at 8:17 a.m. on September 30, 2021, at Vonderlieth Living Center, Mt. Pulaski, Ill., at the age of 105 to enter her eternal home in Heaven
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Harmony Cemetery, Beason, Ill. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements. The family requests face masks to be worn at services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Kenney Fire Department, The Kenney Heritage Association, or The Kenney Civic League.
Helen was born on October 22, 1915, in Bloomington, Ill., the daughter of Bruno and Jessie (Hauskins) VonBosselmann. She married Richard Robinson in 1949 at “The Little Brown Church in the Vale,” in Iowa. Helen’s parents, husband Richard and sister Ruth preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Fritz (Chris) Robinson, Kenney; grandsons, Brandon (Becky) Robinson and Brian (Kristen) Robinson; great-grandsons, Grant Robinson and George Robinson; plus several nieces and nephews.
Helen worked 28 years as a cook at the DeWitt County Nursing Home. She always loved preparing meals for her family and spending time with them. Helen was a great mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, and friend to so many. She leaves a special place in many people’s hearts and will be dearly missed.
