NORMAL – John D. Lichtenwalter, 70, passed away on December 4, 2018, at Lincoln Christian Nursing Home, Lincoln, Ill.

Graveside and military rites will be conducted on May 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton.  Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to United Methodist Church, Clinton, or to donor’s choice.

John was the son of Galen and Patricia Lichtenwalter, Clinton.  Also surviving are brothers Gregory (Penny), Clinton, and Chris (Cindy), Conway, Ark.  Also, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews survive.

John received his God and Country Award while in Boy Scouts.  John also served in the U. S. Navy and Navy Reserves for 10 years.
