CLINTON — Laurel “Lori” Jo White, 68, of Clinton, passed away at 5:36 p.m. on  November 12, 2018, at her family residence, Clinton.

A time to celebrate Lori’s life will be held from 6–8 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018, in the banquet room at Cinco De Mayo, Clinton. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, assisted the family with cremation rites.

Memorials may be directed to DeWitt County animal shelter.

Laurel was born on October 4, 1950, in Clinton, the daughter of Robert and Harriet (Hensley) Burns. She married Allen B. White on November 27, 1976.

Survivors include her children, Robert D. (Tisha) Rybolt, Clinton; Miranda B. Phillips, Salem, Ill.; four grandchildren, Bailey (Tanner) Huffman; Meghan Pister; Hannah Pister; Payton Phillips. Her beloved dog, Clancy.

Lori was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lee Ann Boyd.

Lori loved animals and painting was her passion.
