OMAHA, Neb. — Linda Arteman passed away peacefully at home, in Omaha, Neb., on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the age of 82 years.
Her celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home located at 3809 N. 90th Street. Reception to follow immediately after the service.
Linda was born to Elmer John Arteman and Gladys Marie Skaggs Arteman in Bloomington, Ill., on May 31, 1941.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister Charlotte Ann; sons Michael and Andre; and brother-in-law Lonnie Fogler. She is survived by her partner Tony Krsulic; children Jeff Wilshusen, Jon (Ann) Wilshusen, Gerry Carton, Angela Wilshusen, Amy (Ken) Gatewood, and Rebecca Wilshusen; siblings Larry (Patricia) Arteman, Stephan (Linda) Arteman, Elaine Fogler, and Nancy (Ted) Lehman; as well as eight grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Linda retired from United Insurance Agencies over a decade ago and enjoyed spending time with her best friend (Sharon), children, grandchildren, and her beloved pets. She also used her free time to pursue her continued love of learning; an example being the mastering of the Spanish language, of which she had become quite proficient in the past few years.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
