KENNEY — Linda (Miller) Clevenger, 77, of Kenney, passed away at 2:40 p.m. on December 5, 2021, at Aperion Care, Toluca, Ill.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Texas Township Cemetery, Clinton.
Memorials may be directed to The Alzheimer’s Association or Second Chance for Pets pet adoption.
Linda was born on May 2, 1944, in Decatur, the daughter of Lee William and Evelyn Lucille (Redman) Miller. She married Richard Newman and later married Thomas Clevenger.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Clevenger, Sterling, Mich.; son, Shanon (Darci) Newman, Clinton; step-daughter, Melissa (Brian) Lundberg, Knoxville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Cole Newman, San Antonio Texas, and Braden Newman and Alec Newman, both of Clinton, step-grandchildren, Blythe Lundberg, Elyse Lundberg, Allyson Lundberg, and Abigayle Lundberg, sister, Marlyn Dudley, Phoenix, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Blake Newman, one brother, Carl “Bud” Miller and one sister, Wanda Moye.
Linda loved to make quilts, gardening, and her dogs.
