GAYS, Ill. — Linda S. Budas, 68, of Gays, Ill., passed away at 4 a.m. on April 30, 2018, at her family residence in Gay.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, from noon-6 p.m. at the Peninsula day use area, 5419 Overlook Point Road, Clinton.  The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with cremation rites.

Memorials may be directed to the Sarah Bush Lincoln Regional Cancer Center, Mattoon, Ill.

Linda was born on July 12, 1949, in Gillett, Ark., the daughter of Odis and Cordelia (Phillps) Buggar.  She married Timothy M. Budas on February 15, 1997, in Bartlett, Tenn.

Survivors include her husband, Timothy M. Budas, Gays, Ill.; children, Rich (Sharon) Henson, Clinton; Sara (Mack) King, Clinton; Melissa (Jonathan) Estep, Marshall, Mich.; and Timothy J. (Judy) Budas, Coldwater, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; siblings, David (Carole) Buggar, Mattoon, Ill.; J.R. (Pam) Buggar, Downs, Ill.; Melvin (Sharon) Buggar, Kenney; and Mary Ann (Wally) Carlson, Midway, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Roger, and one infant sister, Edna Faye Buggar.

Linda loved motorcycles, traveling and gardening.  She especially loved her grandchildren.
