CLINTON — Mickey John Pence, 70, of Clinton, passed away at 3:40 a.m. on May 30, 2021, at St. Clara’s Manor, Lincoln.
Graveside services with military honors will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 202,1 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney, with Scott Marsh officiating. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to the Mickey John Pence memorial fund.
Mickey was born on December 8, 1950, in Kenney, the son of John and Martha (Tucker) Pence.
Survivors include his daughter, Sara Jo Pence, West Jordan, Utah; grandchildren, Taylor Pace and Raylin Pace, West Jordan, Utah; siblings, Nancy Pence, Clinton; Dennis Pence, Marion, Ill.; Allen (Barbara) Pence, Wapella, and Julie Pence, Marion, Ill.
Mickey was preceded in death by his parents.
Mickey served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. He worked several years at Revere Copper & Brass Inc., Clinton, and Plastipak, in Champaign. He enjoyed NASCAR racing.
