CLINTON — Pamela R. (Comer) Lane, 74, of Clinton, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, September 22, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

Pam was born on July 2, 1950, to Raymond and Evelyn (Cockerham) Comer. She married Mark Lane on July 2, 1968. He preceded her in death.

Pam is survived by her children, Gay (Cris) Mahoney, Thomas (Erika Motsinger), and Kristin (Joe) Sartie.

The greatest joy of her life was being “Grams” and “Nin” to her five granddaughters, Kristyn (James) Bodine, Kylee (Brent) Holt, Jenna Sartie (Franklin Osgood), Alissa (Mitchell) Petersen, Sera Lane and great-grandson, Jett Bodine.

Pam leaves behind a brother, Tom Comer, two sisters, Caroyl Sue Colbert and Nancy Roseman, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Patricia Maxwell and Sandra Zeigler, and one brother Donald Comer.

Pam was a woman of many words and will forever be known for her brutal honesty, hard work, and loyalty. Pam loved spending time with her family and friends, and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for those she loved.

Pam spent her days doing what she loved best, making her daily round of texts and calls to everyone she knew, watching trash TV and giving her unsolicited advice on everyone’s Facebook posts. Her outspokenness provided entertainment and laughter to all who knew her. Pam lived everyday for ice cold Coca-Cola and piping hot tea. She was the rock of her family and the glue that held them all together. She will forever be missed and cherished.

The family would like to give a special thanks to a few individuals who went above and beyond for Pam by providing not only amazing care but unconditional love and friendship. These individuals are Tina Reeves, Bonnie Young, Betty Heinrich, and Jeannie Yeakel. Your time and dedication meant more to Pam and her family than you will ever realize.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Pam’s honor to the Ronald McDonald House Charities or Second Chance for Pets.
