CLINTON — Phyllis Wolfe was peacefully welcomed into her heavenly home on May 9, 2019, with her family by her side.  

She was born on September 25, 1930, in Clinton, to Emerson and Bessie Miller. 

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Bill Wolfe and brother, LarryMiller (Wendy).  She is survived by her sister, Sharon Reynolds (Bill); three nieces, Natalie Allen, Jacqueline Haysley (Ken) and Cassandra Miller; and one nephew, Michael Demopoulos (Yessy), and four great nephews, Kasey and Colton Allen, Jacob and Daniel Demopoulos. 

She also is survived by  three great nieces, Mandy Taylor (John), Allianz and Ki Miller and a host of friends. 

Phyllis retired after 40 years from the U.S. Department of the Navy, where she resided in Norfolk, Va.  In 2012, Phyllis moved from Norfolk to Louisville, Ky. to be closer to family.  She became an active member of Encounter Church, in Jeffersontown, Ky.  She was also active in Community Bible Study.  

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 12, 2019, at Woodlawn Cemetery.
