FOX LAKE, Ill. — Shaune Lee Matheny, 52, of Fox Lake, Ill.; and a former resident of Clinton, passed away on August 15, 2021, at his home.

Family has requested private graveside services.

Shaune L. Matheny was born on October 23, 1968, in Lincoln, Ill.,  the son of Harold and Barbara Matheny (Musick); and son of Rose Matheny (Wilham).

Survivors include his daughter, Loretta Ann Matheny; grandson, Brian Thomas Lee Hernandez; parents, Harold (Barbara) Matheny, Rose Matheny; sisters, Michelle (Dan) Monaghan, and Tara (Greg) Chapman.

He was preceded in death by his long time partner, Loretta Moriarty, and sister, Crystal Matheny.

Shaune enjoyed the outdoors.  He loved to fish and garden, but most of all, he loved his daughter and grandson with all his heart.
