WAPELLA — Thomas C. Brame, 69, of Wapella, passed away at 8:10 a.m. on April 7, 2020, at his family residence, Wapella.

Due to the COVID–19 Pandemic, a celebration of life services will be held at a later date. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to Thomas C. Brame memorial fund.

Thomas was born on December 22, 1950, in Leaksville, N.C., the son of Alfred and Jo Eddie (Hawkins) Brame. He married Debbie Fiske on October 11, 1979 in Perry, Ohio.

Survivors include his wife Debbie Brame, Wapella; children, Shannon Brame, Wapella; and Brian Brame, Clinton. Four grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edward.

Tom worked for the power plant industry for 30 years, including the Exelon plant in Clinton, and he enjoyed golfing. His passion was gardening and garden flowers, owning and operating Mums by Tom, in Wapella.
