CLINTON — Carl A. Tennison, 69, of Clinton, passed away at 1:02 a.m. on July 6. 2021, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney, Ill. with the Rev. Jean Wollenberg officiating. Casual attire is requested. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Peace Meals, Clinton.
Carl was born on February 28, 1952, in Bloomington, Ill., the son of John H. and Clara Bell (Waldron) Tennison and raised by Walter and Clara Bell Huff.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Ann (Charles) Platt, Jr., Decatur, and five nephews and one niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Walter; infant brother, Calvin Tennison; brother, John Tennison; and nephew, Robbie Tennison.
Carl loved car racing. He was a fan of the WWF, NASCAR, dirt track racing, and Macon Speedway. He enjoyed western movies and playing Nintendo.
