LOVELAND, Colo. — Doris Marie Schlotter, 91, died on February 17, 2021, in Loveland, Colo.
She will be buried in May 2021 next to her husband, William Schlotter, in Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton.
Memorials may be made to Saint John’s Catholic Church, Clinton.
She was born on February 15, 1930, in Richland Township, Ill. to Carl and Leona Puetz.
She married William Schlotter on June 28, 1952.
Surviving are two children, Susan (Daryl)Huntington, Rantoul Ill.; and Steven (Patty) Schlotter Windsor, Colo.; two birth grandchildren, Baret(Lara) Schlotter and Brigetta (Joel) Lofquist, both of Loveland, Colo.; one great-grandson, Victor Lofquist; one step- granddaughter, Tiffany (Chris) Burns; two step- great-grandchildren, Hudson and Harper Burns, Fort Collins, Colo.; and two step-grandsons, Darrick and Brian Huntington.
Also surviving are two sisters, Barbra Lyons and Helen Littlefair, both of Ottawa, Ill.
She was preceded in death by brother Robert Puetz and sister Katheyn Liebhart.
She was a retired teacher, graduating from ISU Normal, in 1952. She taught in Bloomington, Decatur, and Clinton, doing volunteer tutoring after her retirement.
Besides membership in professional organizations, she was a past member of St John’s Alter and Rosary, Salt Creek Patchmakers Guild, Clinton Elks, and Clinton Country Club.
She enjoyed golfing, gardening, quilting, scrapbooking, travel, and reading.
