CLINTON — James Michael Bateson, 66, of Clinton, passed away on June 30, 2017, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Clinton, with military honors.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
Michael was born on June 20, 1951, in Clinton, the son of John D. and Florence (Eveland) Bateson.
Surviving are his children, Michael Bateson, Oregon; Scott Bateson, Oregon; Jamie Jones, Lincoln; Laura Miller, Clinton; Dustin (Kourtney) Bateson, Denver, Colo.; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Bateson, Denver, Colo.; and a pet pig, Harley Davidson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marie Lee Hood.
Michael served in the U.S. Army from 1971-1973. He was a retired drywall finisher.
Michael would like to especially thank Betty Followell for her care during this difficult time.
