BLOOMINGTON — Karlyn K. Chapman, 63, of Bloomington, passed away at 11:15 p.m. on March 7, 2019, at Aperion Care, Bloomington.
Services to celebrate Karlyn’s life will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019, at the Heyworth Christian Church, Heyworth, with Pastor Peter Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 10– 11 a.m. on Monday at the church. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Karlyn was born on February 4, 1956, in Clinton, the daughter of Morris “Brick” and Shirley (Weaver) Hoffman.
Survivors include her children, Bethany (Andrew Larson) Chapman, Ft. Myers, Fla., and Preston Chapman, Nashville, Tenn.; step-son, Dustin (Melissa) Chapman, Madison, Miss.; two grandchildren; brother, Rodney Hoffman, Waynesville; half-brother, Donny Hoffman, Mt. Zion, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Karlyn was a nurse practitioner at Carle Hospital in the OB/GYN unit. She also owned Kares Medical Management.
